If your skip is to be placed on public property, i.e. the road, highway or grass verge.
We will arrange the skip hire permit with the council for you.
Stoke-on-Trent – We need 3 working days notice.
Staffordshire – We need 5 working days notice.
If the skip is on your own drive or property you do not need a permit.

What item’s can't I put in a 10 tonne skip?
We can’t accept fridges, freezers, oils, tyres, televisions, asbestos, gas bottles, or paint.
Can I mix different waste types in the 10 tonne skip?
Yes you can, just avoid the items listed above.
Do I need to be there for delivery/ collection of the skip?
If you want the skip putting in a certain place it is always better if someone is in, but other than that no you don’t need to be there. On collection just leave the skip clear to get to please.
How long can I keep a 10 tonne skip for?
The 10 tonne skip hire is for up to 3 weeks. If you need the skip on a long term basis please contact us to discuss.
Do 10 tonne skips have a drop door?
Yes we do have 10 tonne skips with drop doors. But please ask if you need a drop door one as they don’t all have them.
Can I load the 10 tonne skip whilst you wait?
Yes if all of your material is ready we can wait whilst you load the skip, and take it back with us.
How much rubbish does a 10 tonne skip hold?
Our 10 tonne skip holds 80 to 100 bin bags of rubbish*.
When and how do I pay for the skip?
On delivery of the skip please. Either cash to the driver or call our office to make a card payment.
