We can’t accept fridges, freezers, oils, tyres, televisions, asbestos, gas bottles, or paint. ### Can I mix different waste types in a 4 tonne skip? Yes you can, just avoid the restricted items listed above. It is a great compact skip for mixed waste from bathroom refits and cleanups. ### Do I need to be there for delivery of a skip? If you want the skip putting in a certain place it is always better if someone is in, but other than that no you don’t need to be there. ### When do I pay and how can I pay for skip hire? On delivery please. Either cash to the driver or call our office to make a card payment. ### Do I need a permit from the council for a 4 tonne skip? If the skip is on your own drive or property you do not need a permit. However, if your skip is to be placed on public property, we will need to arrange a permit with your local council. ### How long can I keep a 4 tonne skip for? Skip hire is for up to 3 weeks. If you need a skip on a long term basis please contact us. ### Do 4 tonne skips have a drop door? No, our 4 tonne midi skips do not have drop doors. If you require a drop door for easier loading, please look at our 5 tonne or 10 tonne skip options. ### Can I load the skip whilst the driver waits? Yes, if all of your material is ready we can wait whilst you load the skip, and take it back with us. ### How much does a 4 tonne skip hold? A 4 tonne midi skip holds approximately 45 to 50 bin bags of waste, making it a very popular size for medium domestic projects. ### Do I need to be there when the skip is collected?
